Broadcast Technician Job Description:

1. The candidate should be able to monitor strength, clarity of incoming and outgoing signals, and adjust equipment as necessary to maintain quality broadcasts.
2. Should with the various rules of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and keep record of the stations broadcast.
3. Broadcast technician should also enjoy keeping up with the latest developments in electronics, broadcasting signals, basic mechanics and computer broadcasting equipment.
4. Should be able to repair broadcasting equipment when they break down or malfunction.
5. Should have at least 8-10 years of experience as Broadcast Technician.
