Computer Technician Job Description:

1. The primary responsibility of a computer technician is to maintain server and networks.
2. Perform tasks such as installation, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of computers, network job entry stations and related equipment within the computer network.
3. Computer technician should recommend appropriate network addressing systems, appropriate layouts for various network configurations, and appropriate connection devices.
4. The person should set up and maintain backup system for in-office desktop computers and file servers.
5. Should have knowledge of different operating systems such as Novell NetWare, UNIX, and Windows.
6. Should have 10-12 years of experience in this domain.
