* Should have an apt knowledge of QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe PageMaker, Macromedia Freeh and Adobe Acrobat.
* A graphic designer should perform a leading role in the design and production of print, identity, packaging, multimedia, web design and web applications.
* Designed information architecture and user interface for on-screen applications.
* Have to maintain production schedules and budgets and should train, supervise and provided art direction for junior designers.
* They should be able to manage press checks, art directed photos and supervise team design efforts.
* A graphic designer designs art and copy layouts for visual presentations. They use a variety of print, electronic and film media to meet their clients’ needs. Most use computer software to generate new images.
