* Guards have to patrol, or monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
* Guards entrance gate of industrial plant and grounds, warehouse, or other property to control traffic to and from buildings and grounds.
* Guards patrol buildings and grounds on foot, in cars, or on motor scooters. They also work with trained dogs that alert them to intruders.
* They should have the ability to handle typical, medical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
* Should have the apt knowledge of federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations governing the operation of a commercial passenger vehicle.
