* They have to investigate claims against insurance or other companies for personal, casualty, or property loss and other damages.
* Insurance Claim Adjuster interviews, telephones, or corresponds with claimant and witnesses.
* They are responsible for preparing report of findings and negotiate settlement with applicant.
* They are also responsible for consulting police and hospital records; and for inspecting property damage to determine extent of company’s liability towards the claimant.
