Licensed Practical Nurse Job Description:

1. The person should have deep knowledge of procedures, methods and techniques of practical nursing and health care.
2. The candidate should perform basic nursing duties, maintain patient records, making appointments and performing basic clerical duties.
3. Should have the ability to interview patients in order to determine their medical history and background.
4. The candidate should be able to administer specified medication, orally or by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
5. Should be able to assemble and use such equipment as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, and oxygen suppliers.
6. Should have at least 7-8 years of experience in this field.
