Mainframe Programmer Job Description:

1. As a mainframe programmer with our organization, you would be required to modify the existing screens, as well as programs.
2. You would also be required to modify interfaces between the systems.
3. You will also have to take care of non-discretionary maintenance, apart from production support activities.
4. You would also be required to assist in mentoring the project staff, as well as the production support team.

Armed with expertise over COBOL/370, JCL, DB2, SQL/QMF, IMS DB/DC, TELON, MS Visio, as well as TSO/ISPF/PDF I hope to make a mentionable contribution to the growth of the organization.
