1. The candidate should provide special assistance to students with particular difficulties e.g. helping special needs pupils with typing or writing or computers or other use of equipment.
2. Provide assistance with clothing, feeding, toileting, and general hygiene and safety needs of children.
3. The person should have liaison with other professionals, such as social workers, speech and language therapists and educational psychologists.
4. Set appropriate and demanding expectations for pupils’ learning and motivation and set clear targets for pupils’ learning/advancement.
5. Should organize meetings with parents on a regular basis.
6. Should have at least 5-6 years of experience in this line.
